Dedicated in honour of those who paid the supreme sacrifice and to those who served in the Korean War from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953.
Erected by the Korean Veterans Association of Canada Unit No. 29 Windsor Dedicated on July 26, 1998

Inscribed on this tablet are the names of the volunteers, residents of the County of Essex, who served in the British Army, during the war in South Africa.

Astrolabium & Sundial of M. Kopernik

Copernicus 1473 - 1543 Father of modern astronomy. Polish Astronomer of the University of Cracow who calculated the basic fundamentals of modern astronomy in his work "De Revolutionibus Oribium Celestium" 1540. 1854-1954
Donated to the City of Windsor on the celebration of its Centennial Year from citizens of Polish origin and descent, July 11, 1954. The concept, design, fundraising and organization by Mieczyslaw K. Kusnierz, P.E. Technical drawings by Col. Jan Jazwinski P.E. Erected under the auspices of Chester Sadowski.

Jackson Park World War 2 Air Force Monument
Location:Centre of Jackson Park

A suitable memorial featuring replicas of a World War II Hurricane and Spitfire was installed in Jackson Park as a memorial to the war veterans. Erected in 2005

Presently the Lancaster Bomber is in storage and undergoing restoration. It is not forgotten though, as the shrubbery around the Spitfire and Hurricane has been shaped like the Bomber
